FAQ's

We can offer some of our services without having to visit your home or office, we can use a remote software pprogram as long as you have broadband and you pc is able to connect to the web.

Charges vary depending on the complexity, but we will always try and give you an approx cost before we proceed, sometimes thing take longer than estimated, again we will always try and keep you informed. Typical hourly rates are always given when you call and before we start work.

Free, thats right if we can't repair what we estimated for we will not charge you a penny.

Backup your systems before we start, thie will save you our costs for doing the same, we will not start any repair work unless we can perflorm a backup, (unless you of course agree in writing you dont need one).

Don't fiddle or if you have please let us know what you have done so 1) we do not repeat effort and save you costs, 2) we don’t waste charged time looking for a fault that could have been found faster if we knew what had happened prior to our arrival. It’s always tempting to have a go yourself and of course many client are more than capable of perform their own repairs, but if there is a serious bug, it saves you money and time if we know the history.

Is our work guarranteed? YES

We will always work with you to make sure you’re satisfied with our work. If you ever have a questions or concerns over a service, our team is always happy to talk you through.

Please appreciate the volatile and complex nature of computers and hardware/software installations mean some problems can be recurring but not necessarily due to poor service by mypcgp. For example some computers are reinfected with the same virus or spyware after a user repeats the same actions that got the system infected in the first place.

If you have a need for our service and are not happy with the results, we will do our best to make sure "teh items requested" are resolved before we leave to your satisfaction. If not we will not charge.

Guarrantee, we provide 90 days warranty on all parts fitted as long as used the way the manufacturer designed them for, on software faults we can not provide a warranty but will ensure as far as we can before we leave to make sure you see the system working.

Payment at job completion for all domestic, work from home office work (initially). Payment for small businesses payment is required within 7 days of invoice date please.

Which platforms are we supporting? Apple Mac*?
We support both Windows and Mac*. Our remote service is also available on both. Some of our team are not qualified for Mac, and therfore we may ask you to expect a call back from our Mac engineer when he is free.
